Featured project: St-Gabriel

Maison Saint-Gabriel located in the district of Pointe-Saint-Charles is the oldest farmhouse on the island of Montreal. This house was built on land that was central to an important property acquired by Marguerite Bourgeoys and the Congregation of Notre Dame (which she is the founder) in 1668. This jewel of the past is one of the truly splendid examples of the 17th century architecture. It was recognized on June 8, 2007 as a National Historic Site of Canada.

Pointe-Saint-Charles district is a heritage neighborhood of the city of Montreal and when it was time to upgrade lighting in the area surrounding the Maison Saint-Gabriel the heritage conservation committee of the city of Montreal chose QUATTRO’s SIERA 510 model. At their request Quattro’s designer team customized the SIERA 510 by adding decorative elements to preserve the essence of the historical site. You can view the final result under the Projects section.
