At the corner of Des Seigneurs and Saint-Sacrement street, Saint-Sacrement Park became, without a doubt, a gathering place of choice. On site you will find fountains, relaxation areas, exhibitions, skate park, outdoor stage show with natural platforms, a huge parking lot and more. Now that the old park has been revitalized, the new multifunctional public space designed for citizens of all ages allows many activities to take place.


What stand out most, comparatively to other parks, is definitely the skate plaza. Instead of traditional skate park structures, the fitting out imagined by BC2 group and shaped by Quattro Lighting, allow skateboarder to use and enjoy part of the new urban furniture. The materials used to execute the different spaces were chosen with constant attention to its integration in the environment.


Quattro’s approach consists of implanting methodologies to respect the environment in creating and designing modern streets furniture that will decorate and optimise the urban environment of the future.

Easy to install, no need for maintenance and requiring less energy, LEDS allow new ways for integrating lights to furniture. The backlit bases of the railings and ramps create an harmonious luminous line of light but discontinuous that modulate space inside the skate plaza area. The attention is therefore scope on designer’s privileged places, adding character to the urban furniture specially designed for this unique project.

BC2 architect group made creative use of natural and conventional materials as much as modern and sustainable materials. They mixed harmoniously stainless steel, marble, granite, wood, painted steel and aluminum.

Tree grates are particularly attractive structures in the achievements of diverse and varied projects. It’s only recently that architects, designers and manufacturers recognised its potential by diverting it toward decorative and functional use. Tree grates made by Quattro Lighting allow a bigger planting hole, protect and filter while highlighting the trees with a discreet but effective light. Trees can grow and develop properly in a urban environment.
